When I first got into Graphic Design, I ate up Free Photoshop Videos to learn as much as I could to make sure I could be the best graphic designer I could be. I distinctly remember sitting at my laptop at my dining room table watching a video about how to use Layer Masks in Photoshop. I had played with masks before, but it hadn’t fully sunk in yet, until the trainer distilled it down to a single phrase, “black conceals and white reveals.” All of a sudden, it clicked. Ever since, Photoshop really started to make sense to me and gave me the confidence to become an Adobe Certified Expert in Visual Communication Using Photoshop.
With that spark of understanding came my passion for Photoshop and, eventually, my passion for passing along that spark to others. I began creating my own Photoshop Video Tutorials and entered a couple of Photoshop Training Contests, receiving an Honorable Mention in the “So, You Think You Can Teach Photoshop?!” international training competition.
Since then, I have had the honor and privilege of working with some amazing publishers and educational organizations to bring over 2,300 videos (over 125 hours of content) teaching Photoshop and other Adobe software to users like you so you, too, can take your skills to the next level.
