LPLRWARD
Price: $10.00
Join Linda Loomis as she interviews former Town of Salina Supervisor, Richard "Ace" Ward. Dick was born in Liverpool in 1934 and has lived here all his life. He fondly recalls stories about growing up in Liverpool during the late 40s and early 50s, his school years, activities and friends. Dick also talks about what it was like to work at Heid's. He started at age 14 as a pin setter in the bowling alley where he earned seven cents a game. He later went on to work at the stand selling hotdogs and can still do the cold drink chant.
Linda Loomis is the co-editor of the Review, Liverpool's community newspaper, and teaches English at Onondaga Community College.
