Roustabouts, Church Sneaks, & Body Snatchers: Policing the Shores of Onondaga Lake
LPLPOLICING
Price: $10.00
Since 1794, the fledgling Onondaga County has attracted settlement, wealth, and prosperity. With success came the criminal sort, preying upon the prosperity of the region. Roustabouts, robber roosts, conmen, murderers, body snatchers, and arsonists all practiced their evil trades in the communities along the shores of Onondaga Lake.
On the other side of the conflict were the members of law enforcement: the sheriff, local militia, constables, and police officers that fought for justice, law and order, and public safety. Meet these heroes and villains in this episode of Liverpool Legends.
Jon Anderson is a lieutenant in the Onondaga County Sheriff's Office, and an avid student of the history of law enforcement.
