Crandall Melvin, Jr.
Join Linda Loomis as she interviews Liverpool native, Crandall Melvin, Jr. Crandall was the village attorney for 25 years and now practices law in partnership with his wife Kathleen. A fascinating storyteller with a wonderful sense of humor, Crandall recalls memories of his youth and school days as well as many tales of his years served on the village board with former mayors Ray Grandy and Oliver Masters. Crandall also recalls the building of Onondaga Lake Parkway. His father, who was the Chairman of the Onondaga County Work Bureau, often took Crandall with him when he inspected the various projects that were being built by the bureau in the surrounding area.
Linda Loomis is the editor of the Review, Liverpool's community newspaper, and teaches English at Onondaga Community College.
