Join Linda Loomis as she interviews Betty Gurnett, who moved to Liverpool in 1949. Betty spent 17 years as village historian and has a wealth of information to share with viewers. During the course of the interview many items of local historical interest are displayed and discussed. Some of the items shown are a tin canal boat horn, a wicker rattle, and a wooden frog stick. Betty also includes a short history of the salt boiling industry and a slightly longer talk about Liverpool's wicker industry.
Linda Loomis is the co-editor of the Review, Liverpool's community newspaper, and teaches English at Onondaga Community College.
