LPLBURDICK40
Price: $10.00
Join Linda Loomis as she interviews former Liverpool resident Glenn Burdick about the 1940s. Glenn recalls the war years when he was working at Savage Arms in Utica making Thompson submachine guns and listening to the radio for the latest news from the front. As the war drew to a close, Glenn began to sell used cars to his fellow workers at the factory. After the war, business improved quickly and Glenn purchased land on Route 11 for his first new car dealership.
Linda Loomis is an English professor at the State University of New York at Oswego.
