LPLBURDICK30
Price: $10.00
Join Linda Loomis as she interviews former Liverpool resident Glenn Burdick about the 1930s. Glenn's family left their Liverpool home in 1929 when Glenn was in the sixth grade. They moved to Black Lake where Glenn's father worked on the causeway but, like many other families during the Depression, they were forced to move frequently looking for work. Glenn describes the many different places they lived and talks about the mood of the 1930s. He recalls that while times were tough and money was scarece, families pulled together and everyone helped out.
Linda Loomis is an English professor at the State University of New York at Oswego.
