Join Linda Loomis as she interviews Betty Henes, a life-long resident of Liverpool. Betty graduated from Liverpool High School in 1938 and attended Syracuse University. She went on to become an English teacher and then a librarian. She worked as a librarian at Syracuse University for 38 years. When Betty was 11 years old she began to keep a diary. Her diaries contain a lifetime of memories as well as a history of Liverpool. Join Betty as she reads from some of her diaries and recalls details of growing up in the Village of Liverpool.
Linda Loomis is the co-editor of the Review, Liverpool's community newspaper, and teaches English at Onondaga Community College.
